Factry invites you to a public talk led by Evan Boehm and Yohan Trépanier Montpetit, two of the creators behind the Jacques-Cartier bridge Illumination project. This architectural jewel is the result of a co-creation effort between experts from different industries that have been utilizing big data in a creative way. Evan, Multimedia Director at Moment Factory, and Yohan, Head of Programming at Réalisations Inc Montréal, will speak about their vast experience and will explain how they came to developthe world’s most connected bridge.
This public conference is part of the Data Culture courseoffered for the first time by Factry this fall.

Evan Boehm’s biography:
Evan Boehm is an award-winning artist and creative director whose work focuses on stories in virtual and physical spaces with cutting-edge technology. With a background in computer engineering and animation, his goal is to always tell a story in a new and fantastic way using space as the medium.
Yohan Trépanier Montpetit’s biography:
With a Bachelor in Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure, Yohan specializes in software development processes, system architecture and integration, data analysis and communication with sensors. Other work includes software management at Capra, as well as two first place titles (Computer Science Games, Quebec Engineering Games).
