JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and CEIM (Centre d'entreprises et d'innovation de Montréal) are pleased to invite you to a conference : A Unique Opportunity for Quebec Startups to Meet Potential Japanese Partners
Major Japanese firms, from manufacturing to finance to services in a whole variety of sectors, are increasingly looking to identify new innovation from Canadian startups in order to improve their business practices as well as introduce new ideas and technology into both their domestic market and their network of global clients.
For Canadian startups, the Japanese market (GDP: US$4.9 trillion; Pop.: 120 million) can be daunting but potentially hugely rewarding. One of the best ways to enter that market is through partnering with Japanese firms.
This event will provide a unique opportunity for Quebec startups and major Japanese firms to connect and share information.
Through reverse-pitch presentations, Japanese firms will explain their technology needs. Quebec startups will also get the chance to promote their technology solutions during the networking session that will follow.
When? Thursday September 27th from 15h30 to 18h00
This conference includes:
> Pitch presentations by japanese companies
> Case study by montreal-based startup which entered the japanese market
> Presentation of services and supports offered by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)
