To fulfill a need expressed by the Montréal entrepreneurial community, the Innovation Lab, Fonds de Solidarité FTQ and QI will host businesses in the pre-commercialization stage that can not afford to rent a workspace. The Fonds de Solidarité FTQ and QI wish to support these entrepreneurs during this essential stage of their development.

Location: Impact Hub Montréal at Salon 1861, 550 Richmond St, Montreal (QC)
The lab’s goals:
- Allow businesses to focus on commercializing their products and expanding their business without having to deal with issues related to renting a workspace.
- Offer businesses the necessary support to reach their expansion goal (access to a network, contact creation, etc.)
Selection criteria:
- Businesses in the pre-commercialization stage (product or service validated and acquiring first clients)
- Need for a maximum of 6 workstations
- Partners can support businesses in their short-term goals
- Businesses enhance the environment offered by Impact Hub
General offer:
- Maximum of 6 workstations furnished by the business (if there is a need for more, stations are available at Impact Hub at a low price)
- Access to conference rooms with audiovisual equipment
- Fiber optic internet from Videotron
- Printer
- Telephone
- Access to a kitchenette (fridge, micro-wave, etc.)
- Free tea and coffee
QI offer:
- Access to the Quartier de l'Innovation's network
- Support from our team to reach the short-term goals of your business
- Entry in our startup index on our website
- Free invitations to our activities: Mat’inno, QI_Connexion, Shaping Neighborhoods
Fonds de Solidarité FTQ offer:
- Invitation to present your business to the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ investment team
- Access to the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ donor partner and partner company network
About the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ
Selection process:
A committee made up of partners will receive submissions, after which pre-selected businesses will be contacted for a meeting.
