About us
The McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship is the hub of entrepreneurial activity at McGill University. Our mission is to find, teach, and develop world-class entrepreneurs at McGill. We support our students, faculty, and alumni through tailored education, applied entrepreneurial frameworks, and iterative mentorship.
These entrepreneurship programs include:
1) McGill Lean Startup Program – A 10-week program in the Fall semester that walks early-stage McGill startups through the Lean Startup Methodology
2) McGill Dobson Cup – McGill's premier annual startup competition where over $100,000 in seed funding are awarded to McGill startups across 4 Tracks: Innovation Driven Enterprise, Small & Medium Enterprise, Social Enterprise, and Health Sciences
3) McGill X-1 Accelerator – A 10-week summer accelerator program designed to accelerate the growth of McGill startups towards investment readiness and launch
4) McGill Demo Days held annually in Montreal, San Francisco and Boston
5) Entrepreneurship Events & Workshops held throughout the Fall and Winter semesters hosted by the Dobson Student Executive Team
