Solutions are judged by local juries and by an international jury based in Montreal.

When? May 23rd and 24th 2018
Where? Internet - 24h de l'innovation
Companies are encouraged to submit challenges, for example, a problem in their field that they cannot solve due to lack of time or resources. If they wish, companies may also submit or support challenges that are beyond the scope of their industry, for example, social or societal issues.
Players who wish to take part in the competition are encouraged to form teams or join existing teams in efforts to develop and present solutions to the challenges submitted by participating businesses.
The third category of participants includes organizers, pollinators, and experts; they take part in organizing the competition by inviting players and facilitating the logistics of the event.
What happens during Les 24h de l’innovation?
At 9:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on the day of the competition, teams discover the various challenges submitted by businesses on the event’s web site. From that point onward, they have less than 24 hours to develop a concept, fine-tune it, and present it in a video of no more than 2 minutes in length posted on YouTube.
Local juries select a winner per site before 9:00 AM (EST) on the following day; therefore, local juries deliberate within the 24-hour period. Following this 24-hour period, the international jury in Montreal selects the grand prizewinners from among winning local entries.
What can you win?
By taking part in Les 24h de l’innovation, companies enhance the probability of finding a much sought-after solution to a specific problem.
Winning teams can share in the prize money.
In addition, the event allows companies to spot new talent and enables players to enjoy an exciting and enriching experience as well as attract attention from job recruiters.
